Crews of R&R Line Services are removing an electrical transformer and power lines from a pole that will be replaced with a new taller pole in preparation for Ethos’ Broadband Fiber to the home project in partnership with Sierra Electric Co-op.
The city of Truth or Consequences and Turtleback Mountain are shown in the background as the crews work south of Williamsburg towards Las Palomas & Caballo, New Mexico.
Construction of the fiber network will begin after the “Make Ready” crews have completed their work of pole replacement, pole insertion, and miscellaneous clean up in the power space.
