Construction Updates
Due to the ongoing fire in the area, operations in Springerville and Eager have been halted to comply with safety regulations. Our commitment to supporting the local communities remains steadfast, and ensuring the safety of residents is our primary concern.

Appears 50 Main Street in Greer is just outside the coverage area. Are there plans to include that area?
I will forward this question to our engineering and construction teams and get back to you!
Why are do you have someone asking for approval to use essmennts? Several persons in the Vernon area have been asking
Hello Patricia! Ethos Broadband is not currently building fiber in Vernon. This is a different company that is asking for easement agreements. Although we do currently have two fixed wireless towers at the fire stations there if you are interested in faster cheaper internet. You can call
833-650-0480 if you are interested in our new lower rates.
Thank you for reaching out to us and expressing your interest in fiber service. I am sure you are looking at our coverage maps with a bit of curiosity which is to be expected. There was a previous federal funding award in some of your area and we had to carve those areas out of our initial build to stay complaint with our grant obligations. Ethos Broadband absolutely does not plan to leave you stranded while we provide service to some of your neighbors because of this. We are looking at applying for additional grants and looking at possibly funding some of the adjacent nearby areas ourselves.
Would you be willing to help me set up an outreach in your area to help us determine the level of interests for service around the original coverage area? Based on the level of interest it will help us secure the funding to include the nearby homes such as yours in the coverage area more quickly.
@Cindee Kneiple, would you be willing to help me set up a Town Hall in Greer to discuss getting coverage to the area? I am based in New Mexico, but am happy to help organize and pay for a community discussion to better understand demand in Greer and how we can adjust our construction (and secure the funding to do so) to serve as many homes and businesses in Apache County as we can. Please DM if you are willing to help organize a meeting there in Greer with the community so that Ethos can better understand demand in this area.
One of the Apache County coverage maps shows that an area on the west side of County Road 1122 (aka Northwoods Road) will get fiber optic internet service. I own the residence at 547 County Road 1122 which is outside the planned service area. Is there anything I can do to request fiber optic service at my residence? I’m certain there are other residents in the Greer Acres subdivision that would be interested in your service.
Thank you for asking Richard! I will forward this question to our engineering and construction teams and get back to you!

Amy – I just saw your reply from last November. My Greer property is a second home. I am typically there from June through August or September. I would be glad to help arrange a Town Hall meeting. Please contact me via email at your convenience. I could not find your DM contact info so I’m sending this reply. Hope to hear from you soon. Rick
Amy – I just saw the reply you sent last November. Yes, I can help arrange a Town Hall meeting in Greer. Please contact me via the email address provided in the reply form. I am typically at my Greer residence from June through August.
Hello Richard. I was just in Apache County yesterday checking on the fire damage. I was very impressed with how well the first responders contained the fire. I left them gift bags. It came dangerously close to a critical section of our fiber that feeds the libraries and schools out there. I am definitely interested in a future Town Hall before we begin our construction up there. I can be reached at amy.miller@commnetbroadband.com if you would like to connect offline.
What is the current timeline for Alpine?
What will be the cost of broadband in the Springerville, AZ area be once the broadband is install in the area? Im possibly interested depending on the cost.
Hey, so I live at 1203 e main st Springerville Arizona and would love to have fiber, currently it’s only really crappy frontier that’s available that does 10 down and 1 up. Would it be possible to please have coverage come in soon? I am trying to upload videos, stream, play games, and honestly I’m not the only one around here that really wants and needs the Internet. We can pay the monthly, I’m surprised it wasn’t done already because we get advertisements in our mail for satellite all the time. Plus there is a main frontier box right over there that looks like it would be easy enough to hook into and run fiber through the same underground, possibly, stuff there and set up your own box. It’s just in front of the house across the church.
Hello John! We are working on getting additional funding to expand the current planned build. If you could please fill out this form: https://forms.zohopublic.com/commnetbroadband/form/EthosFiberInternetPresignUpPromotionalOfferAC/formperma/VDp3GpQLimnStdZxAx1ED4yvExIr99k3t4i98xkgatg it will help us gauge exactly where the demand for fiber is within the communities of Apache County. We are hoping to cover as many homes and businesses as possible!
Well I filled it out, I think the 2nd time. hopefully you guys are able to get this area done soon 🙂 I see it already goes to the house up the road & the church but not over here. which is frustrating, but I get it takes time to put in everything & its hard work. thanks for helping support the area.
I want service as soon as it’s available
We live on South Cordillia St. Springerville, Az and from your map we are not getting your service and when I filled out your form never got a reply. So it appears I should continue to use HughesNet.
